As an artist, I believe it’s important to constantly explore and grow creatively. While I haven’t found a specific sound that defines me yet, I’m always refining my music to create a unique identity that connects with listeners.
My music has often been described as two layers of melodies: a fast and captivating one combined with a slower and more thought-provoking melody. I’m drawn to the ethereal and dreamy elements because I aim to transport listeners into a meditative and hypnotic state.
As I continue to release albums, I believe a distinct style will emerge that becomes synonymous with my name. Every artist strives to have a unique sound that sets them apart.

What is the top struggle you face today in the music business? What is your plan to overcome that struggle?
As an artist in the Electronica genre, I face unique challenges when it comes to gaining mainstream exposure and recognition compared to more popular genres. The struggle lies in reaching a wider audience and standing out in a highly competitive music industry. However, there’s a positive aspect to it as well. With fewer artists in this niche, there’s a greater chance for my work to be noticed by fans who appreciate this style of music.
To overcome these challenges, I’m focusing on building a strong online presence through consistent and high-quality music production. This involves regularly releasing new tracks, offering glimpses into my creative process, and actively engaging with my audience on social media and streaming platforms. By providing valuable content and fostering genuine connections, I aim to cultivate a loyal fan base within the Electronica community.
In addition, I’m implementing various strategies to enhance my visibility and reach. This includes targeted marketing efforts, collaborating with fellow musicians, performing live shows, maintaining a strong online presence, and creating captivating visual experiences that complement my music. By combining these approaches, I’m confident in steadily growing my presence in the niche, expanding my fan base, and establishing meaningful connections with new listeners and old.

How important is the internet to a musician today? What does the music landscape feel like to you? Are you struggling to connect with people?
Because my first single was only released less than three weeks ago, I’m still sort of at the introduction process with my music. Creative song writing sessions in the evenings are now replaced by social media marketing campaigns, where I’m testing ads to different countries to see their various responses to Sky Drifter, and working on getting them to like my Facebook Artist Page so I can have an organically growing audience I can keep in constant touch with.
I am close to 4,000 “fans” so far, all in the last several weeks, and feel this is a hopeful sign my music is resonating and beginning to find a modest “global” audience. It’s a great start!
Once a bigger population of people have become fans, I absolutely intend on doing live streaming events and letting the fans get to know me on a much more personal level.
